‘n Koskrisis staar aasvoëls oor die wêreld heen in die gesig, dié dat ‘n groep jong kransaasvoëls lewende skape aangeval het terwyl hulle lam, die ouer, dominante aasvoëls verhoed die jonger aasvoëls om van karkasse te aas en in desperaatheid kan groepe jonges lewende diere aanval alhoewel dit ‘n baie rare verskynsel is.

A food crisis faces vultures all over the world, hunger drove a group of young Cape vultures to attack living sheep while they were lambing, the older, dominant vultures keep the young ones from feeding from carcasses and out of desperation groups of young vultures can attack living animals even though this seldom occurs.
